I recently stayed at Boship Lions Farm Hotel for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel had a unique and attractive style, with quirky extras like friendly animals roaming the grounds. The breakfast room overlooking the garden was a lovely touch, and the big, comfortable bed made for a restful night's sleep. Despite arriving late, the staff were accommodating and friendly.
I can definitely recommend this hotel.

The 'can do' attitude of the staff made this stay above average. I enjoyed the hotel and would definitely book again. As was said in other reviews - our room was in need of refurbishment, but the hotel and facilities made it worthwhile. We enjoyed the food - especially the special offer dining on the Sunday night - one to watch out for. If I advise it was a good hotel then It will get booked up - but for the price it was excellent value for money and well worth the stay.
Sunday am breakfast was very disorganised.

I couldn't have asked for better value for my money. The room was lovely and the modern bathroom was a nice touch. The location of the hotel was also great, with beautiful grounds and animals to enjoy. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive throughout my stay.
The hotel breakfast could be improved by offering a wider variety of options.

We enjoyed the stay, however there was a wedding party and the disco kept us awake. Rooms are a good sizw but the furniture and decor are tired and need updating.

The compact and comfortable bar, with a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
Having to pay for accommodation on arrival, then having to settle up other bills on departure. Payment on departure is the way this should be done; payment on arrival shows lack of trust.

Good location. Pleasant trainee receptionist also working at the bar. Lovely grounds with space for kids. Ponds need attention. Good cooked breakfast.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were impressed by the staff, who, although young were pleasant and very helpful at all times. The location was just as we had expected and we were very pleasantly suprised by the quality of what we received. We felt we received value for money
Some of the decoration and fixings looked like they had been done by an amateur.

Stayed at this hotel with a group of friends riding motorcycles on an organised route. Chose the hotel based on price and proximity to the route. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Evening meal was good quality and served well. Good choice of breakfast. Rooms clean and well appointed. Secure parking available. Motorcycles could be parked directly outside the rooms. Interesting array of quirky items spread around the grounds, ideal for children to explore under parental supervision.
Totally recommend this hotel.

A relaxed and informal hotel in a quiet setting but also easily accessible to nearby towns. Free wi-fi. Nice big room with view over open parkland.
There was a noisy wedding party in the hotel on the first night. The bathroom in our room, although clean, was in need of updating.
